Many corrosion tests need to be performed over months or even years. Consider a test to deduce the state of crevice corrosion in stainless steel. Using a push fit crevice probe as one electrode and a piece of pipe wall as the other it is desirable to monitor the current flow between the two for a long period. To maintain and record the galvanic couple a ZRA is needed, and for replication of results more than one channel is desirable. It's also a good idea to record the potential of the couple during the test. Here at ACM we have developed a instrument that permanently connects 12 couples with individual autoranging ZRA's for each couple and buffers 12 separate reference electrodes. This is our GalvoGill 12. A supremely accurate, dedicated and fine looking instrument, useful where any galvanic couple is to monitored, supplied with all cables and software. Just add a PC and localised corrosion testing suddenly gets interesting.
All ACM Instruments come with a two year warranty which may, at low cost, be increased to five years for peace of mind.
